Appearance
Their skin is covered in the discharge of innumerable sores tinted in suppurant green and vile browns. They are disgusting creatures with sores of variable sizes, exposed tendons and bones, one eye(through some can have more) and many horns.[2]
They often carry severed heads as trophies and Nurglings can be found beneath their skin or playing with their entrails.[2]

When unleashed upon the Mortal Realms, they tally the diseases unleashed by Nurgle.[1a]
Abilities
They are terrifyingly resilient and relentless, able to overwhelm their victims like a terminal disease. Their bodies are digustingly resilient, able to take the most grievous of wounds with little effect. They are surrounded by clouds of flies tht makes it harder to shoot them the more of them they are. Near a heroes of the Nurgle's daemon they become even harder to hit as they act as a locus of fecundity.[1a]
Warfare
The leaders of units of Plaguebearer warriors are known as Plagueridden. Most of these units have Pipers and Icon Bearers.[1a]
Plaguebearers can ascend in ranks and become Heralds of Nurgle, like the Poxbringers, Sloppity Bilepiper and Spoilpox Scrivener. When riding in the backs of Rot Flies, they become flying cavalry known as Plague Drones of Nurgle.[3][4][5][6]
