Yutemoc is an elderly Skink Chief of the Thunder Lizard constellation, hand chosen by the Slann Starmaster Olhupec to guard the skies above Tepok's Eye. He is known to the Seraphon as the Red Wind, both because of his crimson frill and because of the bloody carnage he wreaks from the skies.[1]

Blessed by the Starpriests of the Thunder Lizards, he rides upon the Terradon Arqa-Zul, a beast legendary for its ferocity and bloodlust. [1]

History

Age of Sigmar

During the Battle of Tepok's Eye, Yutemoc led a skyhost of thousands of Skink Braves, each mounted on Terradon and Ripperdactyl. Mobilized to assist in stopping Be'lakor's daemonic hosts from reaching the summit of the Impassable Peaks, his skyhost harried the Tzeentchian forces lead by the Lord of Change F'tanax as they headed through a narrow pass into the mountain's steppe. Hundreds of daemons and human cultists were immolated or blown apart as Ripperdactyls flanked the daemon host, trapping them in the pass as successive Terradon bombing runs flew back and forth overhead.[1]

The slaughter was shortlived as F'tanax, always intending to draw out any Seraphon forces not engaged with the main daemonic host, used the sacrifice of 99 chanting Tzeenchian cultists to weave a spell that tore a wound into the fabric of reality above the battle, its tendrils reaching out to draw in any that moved too close. Dozens of Yutemoc's Braves were immediately drawn into the abyss, and those who avoided the pull by swooping low into the pass were torn apart by the flesh melting sorcery of the Tzeentchian host. Only Yutemoc and a small flight of his Terradon riders escaped the fray, slipping into the clouds as the Lord of Change celebrated his victory. [1]

Yutemoc fought in the final defence of the Eye of Tepok as the Daemonic horde breached the base of the cosmic engine itself, until Starmaster Olhupec's decapitation under the combined assault of F'tanax and the Bloodthirster Kazarkos. On psychic urging of the dying Slann, the Starmaster's most trusted Starpriests were sent to flee the lost battle and inform Lord Kroak of the disaster that had befallen them. Only a single Starpriest survived the chaotic scene as the two Daemon hosts fell upon one another, their lightning reflexes and small size allowing them to slip through the battle to Yutemoc, finding him surrounded by the corpses of dozens of chaos-worshippers torn apart by Arqa-Zul's talons. Furious to be denied more butchery, but filled with a determination to fulfill his master's final will, Yutemoc took to the skies and departed the Impassable Peaks in search of Lord Kroak.[1]
