Ximoyuxe

Lord Ximoyuxe is a Slann Starmaster of the constellation the Starherd's Path. Comparatively youtful for his race, he was born of the fifth and final spawning of Slann. He embodies the coldness of the void between realms, an aura of shadow and icy chill perpetually coalescing around his form.[1b]

With a similarly cold interpretation of the Great Plan, Ximoyuxe believes the Old Ones left not only a plan to be fulfilled, but a model of pragmatic and orderly behavior all mortal races must follow to ensure the forces of Chaos can never again take root in the realms. These principles demand deep indifference, treating the life of a long held ally and a complete stranger as of equal value, taking no personal sentiment into account when following The Great Plan and ensuring all wasteful wars not waged against the forces of Chaos must cease.[1b] This pattern of behavior has earned him the title of ‘Thousand-times Traitor’ amongst the mortal peoples that have interacted with his constellation, as his aid may come to beliegered armies under siege who then sally forth on the attack, only find that same assistance now given to the defending enemy.[1a]

History

Age of Myth

During the Age of Myth Ximoyuxe and his constellation built and abandoned a number wonderous cities for the mortal races to inhabit, each seeded with techno-arcana devices destined to fuel the development of the civilizations that would move into them. The Starherd's Path watched these developing cultures with interest, though one by one those great empires and magocracies fell to the tempations of Chaos and the corruption of possessing such great powers, their inhabitants turning the Slann's gifts against his constellaion.[1a]

Centuries before the Age of Sigmar, battle against such a civilization at the Agloraxian citidel of Shimmerscope found his forces trapped within a pocket of frozen time anchored to the realm of [[Tzeench] by two sets of Tzeenchian Magisters, one casting a rite in his time and another doing so centuries later, during the Age of Sigmar. With the assistance of a group of Soulbound in the future, and the last Seraphon survivors of the battle who had remained trapped during the enduring centuries, Ximoyuxe dispelled the magic of both sets of Magisters and released those trapped within the bubble of looping time.

Ximoyuxe and the Starherd's Path fought a number of other similarly devastating wars against the civilizations they had helped raise, attempting to take back that which they had given. In the process the constellation was decimated, its Saurus warriors reduced to a precious few and Ximoyuxe himself heavily wounded. Ximoyuxe bid his bruised constellation return to the stars, and drifted the void in silent contemplation of his failure for centuries.[1b]

Age of Sigmar

As the Age of Sigmar dawned, Ximoyuxe roused from his contemplation and ordered his constellation to act with renewed vigor, returning to the realms and carving a path backwards through his origional journey to seed the realms with civilization, collecting all remnants of this era.[1b]

His constellation sought out a superweapon created by the Agloraxian Empire and now within the undercity of the Free City of Brightspear, dispatching a single Skink Priest to seek it out.[1a]
