Wyrmditt is a town in the Realm of Ghur, located in what was once the border marches of the kingdom of Kharza. [1a]

It lies over the hill country of Takrahn, beyond the Wood of Gyr and across the veldt of the Fangfields. [1a] It is located on the edge of a vast geyser fields which rise from their boiling pools creating a mist which shrouds the town. Rare minerals are also projected from them, which were gathered by the people and traded using the nearby Wyrm River. [1b]

The houses and other buildings are mostly constructed with a stone ground floor and upper floors of wood with lacquered paper panels. Rain is shed by slate roofs and gutter waterspouts in the shape of gargoyles. Workshops and traders include: stonesmiths, tanners, coopers, brewers, steelmongers and glass-blowers. [1c] Following the Necroquake, the temple of Sigmar was neglected and fell into disrepair, tended only by Friar Mueller. The Shrouded King, Sabrodt the Usurper, through Pater Mathias, took tribute from the town in the form of living inhabitants. [1d]

In answer to the desperate prayers for help, a force of Stormcast under Knight-Incantor Arnhault arrived and confronted the Knight of Shrouds before pursuing him into the lands he had claimed. [1]
