Age of Sigmar
During the Era of the Beast a large number of Wormlings were captured by Clans Moulder, at great cost, as part of a joint plot with Clans Skryre. After they were captured the Wormlings were outfitted with warpcog extractors and allowed to burrow into the crust of Andtor. As they munched through rock and root they devoured the lifeblood of Andtor, which the Skaven would combine with liquid warpstone to create a concoction that grants even the smallest of their kind tremendous strength.[1a]
