Legends say that Nagash trapped these ancient deities within the Icefell Vaults of Shyish.[1a][1b]
It is known that the ancestors of the Beastclaw Raiders broke into this prison and some amongst the Beastclaw Raiders believe this event unleashed the Everwinter upon their kind.[1b]
Myths
Myths among the Beastclaw Raiders claim that their ancestors freed these deities while in search of food and in doing so unleashed the Everwinter upon themselves, though this is but one of many myths about the origin of the Everwinter.[1a][1b]
