Tlanxa

Tlanxla is one of the deities venerated by the Seraphon as a god of war.[1a] The gilded stele of Klaxamaq states that the first Saurus was Tlanxla's offspring, and that he gifted killer instincts and knowledge of warfare to them, but receiving the vast sum of knowledge all at once was too much for the creature. Distraught over bringing suffering to his creation it is said Tlanxla instead locked away the information in the soul of all Saurus, to slowly unveil over time.[1a]
The Seraphon believe this is the reason Saurus gain an increasing grasp of military command as they age, their instincts in battle honing and expanding their ability to call upon more complex strategies at a moment's notice, and why a Saurus Oldblood may not understand why an order is necessary, just instinctively understanding that it must be made.[1a]
