Thunderstone Reach
The Thunderstone Reach was a Stormvault that once stood atop Gharrentia, a vast mesa found in the Realm of Ghur.[1a]
History
Age of Myth
Thunderstone Reach was one of the countless Stormvaults made by the God-King to serve as prisons for dangerous entities and repositories for equally dangerous artefacts. The greatest of the artefacts hidden within the Thunderstone Reach was Hammergord's Skull.[1a]
Age of Sigmar
For countless centuries the Thunderstone Reach remained hidden, until the devastating Necroquake was released upon the Mortal Realms. The harrowing event shattered the Stormvault and sent it tumbling into the canyons around Gharrentia. But it never made it to the ground below, instead it's descent was halted when it fell into the enormous webs created by a colony of Arachnarok spiders.[1a]
The God-King sent forth warriors of the Astral Templars Stormhost to secure the Stormvault and recover the artefacts held within. But before they could do so the legendary Gordrakk, considered the greatest of the Ironjawz Megabosses, arrived and smashed through their defenses. Gordrakk then recovered Hammergord's Skull and mounted it on a battering ram, creating a weapon he has grand plans for.[1a]

Treasure
- Hammergord's Skull: The greatest of the treasures found within Thunderstone Reach was the skull of the bull-headed Godbeast known as Hammergord. The artefact has such potent power that it can reduce mountains to rubble.[1a]
