Threnstice, known as the City of the Forgiven, is the capital city of the Gleaming Isle.[1]

By swimming through the Narrid Strait one can reach this city.[1]

History

It was long thought unassailable, as its unreachable by land, had a strong navy and Spirits of Living Light protect the skies.[1]

During the Age of Myth this was proven wrong as a secret cult that worships the Pallid Bull attract Ghor-Garghorr and his Slakefray. They swim through the Narrid Strait to reach the city and scale its wall in the night. They manage to escape the notice of the garrison, climb over the battlements and slaughter the city guard.[1]

They raid the Jewellery Quarter, gorging on the defeated and adorning their bodies with the finest trinkets and clothes they can find. They conduct a potent ritual and corrupt the Threnstice Realmgate. They are reinforced by the Hedonite host of Jau Gangrel and the fiercely fought city falls three days later.[1]
