Templesen is a gargant recognized as a Saint of the Sigmarite religion. His remains are currently interred in the south-western gate, known as the Tomb of the Redeemed, of the city of Glymmsforge.[1a][2a]

History

After becoming a faithful convert of the Hammer God, Templesen fought valiantly for his deity, his deeds seeing him beatified as a Celestial Saint after his death.[1a][4a] One of his most legendary feats was his stand at Archiba, a deed noteworthy enough to earn a mosaic within the Tower of Apogee of the Sigmarabulum itself.[3a][4a]

Age of Sigmar

Eventually, he was interred in the Free City of Glymmsforge as one of the Twelves Saint of Glymmsforge.[1a] The tombs of Templesen and the other eleven saints were used with sacred wards to protect the city. His tomb was constructed within the southwestern gate of the city and came to be called the Tomb of the Redeemed.[2a]

During the Second Siege of Glymmsforge, Nighthaunt forces and Necromancers led by Lord-Executioner Keranus attacked the Tomb of the Redeemed. The undead sought to despoil the sacred mausoleum and shatter its protective wards, whilst the Necromancers set about creating a ritual to hex the tomb. Their desecration threatened to rouse Templesen as a deadly undead monstrosity and only the timely intervention of Knight-Incantor Zeraphina Heldensdottor, though at a high cost to her forces, stopped the fel works of the Necromancers and shattered the horde of Nighthaunt.[2a]
