Tegrus
From Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum
(Redirected from Tegrus of the Sainted Eye)
Tegrus of the Sacred Eye is a Prosecutor-Prime of the Steel Souls Chamber of the Hallowed Knights Stormhost.[1a]
Mortal Life
Before being called by Sigmar, Tegrus was a gifted ranger and hunter who fought against the forces of Chaos that infested his homeland. It was as a mortal that Tegrus first articulated a maxim that he still holds to as a Stormcast Eternal: in order to smite the foe, one must first hunt him down.[1a][2a]
Deeds as a Stormcast Eternal
- During the Cleansing of Azyr, Tegrus served as a scout who tracked the Chaos worshippers in the Nihilad Mountains.[1a]
- During the Realmgate Wars, he fought in many battles as the Stormcast Eternals searched for Alarielle.[1a]
- He led the cleansing of the Vulturine Geysers, and in the fighting was the first to spot the Oak of Ages Past.[1a]
- Once the Stormcasts had secured and cleansed the River Vitalis, Tegrus was the one charged to find the entrance to Athelwyrd that was hidden within it. He dove into the depths of the water, spotted the portal to Alarielle's hidden vale, and returned to Lord-Celestant Gardus Steel Soul with news of his discovery.[1b]
- At the Battle of the Hidden Vale, he interposed himself between Alarielle and a spell cast by the Grey Seer Skurrik, getting transformed into a skaven for his trouble.[1b]
