The Stormsire's Cursebreakers are a Stormcast Eternal warband of the Hammer of Sigmar, led by the Knight-Incantor Averon Stormsire. They are battle-mages of the Sacrosanct Chamber, specializing in storm magic and how to unravel curses, enchantments and other dark spells.[1]
In service of Sigmar they have travelled to the darkest and unhawllowed corners of the Mortal Realms, striking down any who would dare to oppose them. They were personally chosen by the God-King to investigate the curse of Shadespire in the hope of finding a solution to the side-effects of Reforging. Now they walk through the Mirrored City searching for a way to free the city from its dark enchantment.[1][2][3]

Averon Stormsire
Knight-Incantor Averon Stormsire was chosen personally by the God-King Sigmar to investigate the curse of Shadespire, for the irascible mage’s knowledge of unbinding and banishment is extraordinarily comprehensive. Stormsire has long studied the negative effects of the reforging process, and his grim demeanour has only grown more intense as the troubling implications become clearer. At first, Stormsire considered the legend of Shadespire merely another distraction, another dead end that would lead only to frustration and failure. Yet upon examining the power of the curse that binds the city, and studying slivers of haunted shadeglass, a faint glimmer of hope has been rekindled in his heart.[5] He fights with a blade said to have been blessed by the Celestant-Prime himself, after the bloody Battle of Gaspar's Hold.[4c]
Ammis Dawnguard
Ammis Dawnguard Ammis Dawnguard is an Evocator of Stormsire's Cursebreakers. When she fights, she feels the hand of the God-King upon her shoulder, inspiring her to destroy the enemies of Order in his name.[4b]
Rastus the Charmed
Rastus the Charmed is an Evocator of Stormsire's Cursebreakers. Rastus cuts the enemies of Order down with merciless fervour born of fathmless contempt.[4a]
