Spells of Ghyran

The Spells of Ghyran refers to the Realmsphere Magic emanating from within the Realm of Ghyran, the realm of life. As the case with other realms, this magic is known to become especially potent as one treads closer to the Realm's Edge of Ghyran.[1a] The magic of Ghyran normally had always waxed and waned in cycles. However, since the Arcanum Optimar, jade energies have unseasonably flooded the arboreal lands of Ghyran. Those who recongnise and take advantage of these profuse powers did so with startling rapidity, crafting new spells of rampant growth and healing.[1b]

Back from the Dead Wizards in the Great Green Torc, Ghyran That which had once diminished and ceased to be now bursts into new life at the start of the seasonal cycle. Fallen warriors surge to their feet once more, their limbs strong and bodies unmarked by the grievous wounds that saw them slain but moments before. Renewal Where new life has taken root, it now grows at an astonishing rate, and the land itself is awash with rejuvenating and replenishing energies. Injured warriors, stubbornly refusing to fall despite the terrible harm wrought upon them during the battle, find their wounds suddenly seal shut and shattered bones reknit. Aestival's Boon The power of life is at its zenith during this season, and death has little hold on any that bask within its bountiful splendour. Creatures great and small are nourished and enriched with benevolent, life-giving energies, and are able to shrug off harm that would prove fatal during any other time in the Torc’s cycle. Harvester of Pain After the rise comes the fall. The Reaping feeds upon the land’s bountiful energies and exacts a heavy toll upon all beneath its sway.
