The Singing Bladesmiths of Odrenn are renowned weaponsmiths, who create Liquid-core Blades through a combination of blacksmithing and singing. They first came into ascendancy during the Age of Myth, after the Lode-Griffon claimed the central island of the Godwrought Isles as it's home.[1a]

History

Age of Myth

The Grungni the Smith-God himself teaches the Singing Bladesmiths of Odrenn the art of creating Liquid-core Blades.[2b]

When the Lode-Griffon claims the central isle, later known as Griffon's Eyrie, of the Godwroughts Isles, it causes a metallurgical apocalypse that ends the ascendancy of the Brothers Adamant and causes many people of the lands once governed by them to flee to outlying islands. The artisan tribes of Odrenn, Adayah, and Viscid Flux form contracts with these refugees, bringing prosperity to the outer islands. The Singing Bladesmiths are one such group to benefit from this, as their Liquid-core Blades become popular among warrior fraternities, second only to Celemnis's [[Living Blade]s.[1a]

Age of Chaos

The kingdoms of the Spiral Crux and it's people fight valiantly against the horrors of the Age of Chaos, but eventually many are broken by the machinations of the Changer of Ways's and his servants and others are forced into hiding.[2a]

Age of Sigmar

Sigmar's Tempest and the Realmgate Wars brings renewed hope to the remnants of the Spiral Crux's great cultures and many have once more began creating their wonders. Including the Singing Bladesmiths who once more sing enchantments into their blades.[2a]
