Horrors of Tzeentch splitting into lower variants.

Horrors are the most prolific of the Daemons of Tzeentch. An ever-shifting mass of flesh, limbs, and flame-spewing orifices. Certain Tzeentchian spells can also create Horrors by burning mortals into ash. Horrors are gibbering, malicious and generally vile parodies of their patron god. Original Horrors are described as short neck-less creature with long, multi-jointed arms.[4]

Horrors are divided into three types, each type created when the other is slain. When a Pink Horror is slain it splits in twain and forms two Blue Horrors, and when one of those Blue Horrors are slain they split into two Brimstone Horrors.[2][3]

A few Pink Horrors can ascend to the position of Heralds of Tzeentch.[1d]

Pink Horrors

Pink Horrors are gleeful and capricious daemons that can generate raw, lunatic magic by gibbering nonsense and whirling and flailing their arms. In large units the air so filled with arcane force with them they can target their enemies with unnatural fire, making the Magical Flames they hurl at an enemy the more of them they are, and enhance casting ability of other Tzeentchian Daemons. In combat they use their grasping hands to choke and strangle their enemies.[2][3][1a]

In an organised units there will be a Hornblower to motivate, an Iconbearer with a flaming Tzeentchian icon to summon reinforcements and their champion, an Iridescent Horror, that doles out death with glee.[2]

Blue Horrors

A Blue Horror, unlike their pink cousins, are resentful, bitter and vindictive. Even as they protest, stomp and mutter glumly they blast apart their foes with mystical azure flames they summon from their fingertips. In melee they attack with their taloned hands.[3][1b]

Brimstone Horrors

A Brimstone Horror the lowest kind of Horror of Tzeentch is nothing more than savage little spites made of mite-sized living fire and pure malice. They caper as you would expect flames to, leaping and crackling, eager to cause as much flaming damage to their enemies shins and garments as they can. Like their antecessors they can hurl magical flames from their hands or grab their foes with taloned hands.[3][1c]
