Nevermarsh

The Nevermarsh is a region of icy swamp land in Gorwood in the Realm of Ghur. [1a]
The huge area it occupies giving it the appearance of being endless gives it its name.[1a]
Flora and fauna
- Birds: Vicious predators with beaks made to strip flesh and crack bone - they mainly scavange for insects and fish in the buttress's of roots. Freeguild soldiers lost fingers and eyes to them. [1a]

History
Manguish the Bloatlord brought his Legion of Bloat across the swampland to carve out a new territory, there they allied with the Blind Host against the forces of order based in the Seven Words. [1b]
Hamilcar Bear-Eater was the first Stormcast Eternal to enter the marsh. [1a]
Locations
- Kurzog's Hill: Named for Brayseer Kurzog, it was the site of a battle between the forces of Order under Hamilcar Bear-Eater, composed of Stormcast Eternals, Freeguild and Aetar, and the forces of Chaos, composed of the Legion of Bloat, Blind Host and Skaven. It is surrounded by a delta of small frozen bogs [1c]
