Moss-Leprosy is a disease originating from the Verdant Bay in the Realm of Ghyran, caused by spores carried by hot and damp winds. It takes the from of ever-growing patches of cancerous moss that ate away at flesh and muscle leaving only dense green clumps clinging to the bone. Despite it's effects it's victims felt little pain and they could still wield blades. It is a common ailment in times after the Realmgate Wars, infecting Hygal of the Order of the Furrow.[1]

In the Age of Sigmar a new hospice to aid sufferers was set in the ruins of the first Grand Hospice in Demesnus by the former Warrior Priest Carazo[2]
