Lurkspine Deeps
Lurkspine Deeps was a war burrow of Clans Verminus that had long been hidden below the Kingdom of Ulhor, a nation of Slaves to Darkness. The forces of Order led by the Anvils of the Heldenhammer who destroyed Ulhor would unknowingly build their city, Anvilheim, on top of Lurkspine Deeps.[1a]
History
Age of Sigmar
After the purge of Ulhor and foundation of Anvilheim, the avaricious ratmen of Lurkspine Depths wait and bide their time as they plan to strike the city of Order being built above them. It is not until exactly thirteen years after the first foundations of Anvilheim were laid that the Skaven strike and they do so in mass.[1a]
The defenders of the city, which include the Anvils of the Heldenhammers, agents of the Order of Azyr,soldierss of the Freeguilds and Ironweld Arsenal are overwhelmed and outnumbered. Their valiant defense is quickly shattered and when a coven of Grey Seers summon Skreech Verminking to personally lead the ratmen hordes the city of Anvilheim are doomed.[1a]
