The Living Tempests of Azyr are sentient, heavenly storms found within the Realm of Heavens. It is their celestial energies that are used to imbue the Sigmarite weapons and armour of the Stormcast Eternals with incredible arcane power.[1a]
Forging
The Six Smiths create the artefact weapons and armour used by the Stormcast Eternals within or under the Living Tempests. Each item forged in this manner is imbued with celestial energy and an aspect of the storm that helped in its creation.[1a][2a]
Known Living Tempests
- Auroral Tempest: The Auroral Tempest is vicious and belligerent.[2a][2b]
- Ayorrian Maelstrom: Quick and restless, the Ayorrian Maelstrom aids in creating quality skybolts.[1a]
- Azheden Thunderhead: A blunt and pitiless storm whose aspect is found in many of the warhammers employed by the Stormhosts.[1a]
