Kharybtar is a Godbeast, the Father of Kharybdisses
During the Age of Myth a shard of the Aelf god Khaine was flung away by Khorne and landed in the lair of Kharybtar who guarded it until eventually it began to regain some power. Morathi was then able to scry the location of the artefact and entered its lair where she seduced the creature, seeking to gain it by stealth before any other powers noticed it. However when she attempted to claim it, the godbeast resisted and they battled for thirteen days before she crushed it into submission in her coils. It is not known if the beast still lives.[1]
