Kelpdar, also spelt Kelpdarr, are an aquatic race that reside within the oceans of the Mortal Realms, rarely seen by surface dwellers.[1a][2a]

Culture
Kelpdar are known to be fiercely protective of their territories, located in the oceans of the Realms but never so far as to lose sight with the light of the sun.[1a][2a] They speak of the deeper reaches of the oceans, only in hushed whispers and rumours. For even they do not know what resides down there with the Krakigon and other deep sea predators that hunt the near-freezing depths.[1a]
