Joyous Revelry
The Joyous Revelry was a horde of Chaos worshippers ruled by the Chaos Lord Bakhos [1]
The Revelry was made up of hundreds of disparate warbands and small armies led by one of more champions of Chaos. They did not have discipline or order even when they advanced upon their enemies - most fought for themselves, seeking glory and the notice of Slaanesh who they termed the Absent God. [1b]
Their vast encampment included countless brightly coloured pavilions sitting above sloped earthworks, guarded by stakes and dry moats - walls divided the territories of a myriad of minor lords and leaders within the camp. The unfortunate slaves that served were not only used for brutal pleasures and hard work but also as food. [1c] A hugely fat giant of a man acted as cook, having to provide a banquet and wine every evening - he was considered as communal property, until Ghosteater killed him. [1f]

History
When Bokhos first came to the Realm of Shyish, the Revel only had a few hundred warriors, but it quickly grew in size, building a city of brightly coloured pavilions. By the time of their final conflict there were hundred great champions and chieftains, all leading substantial forces of their own. [1e]
Almost a third of the horde were lost in the first engagement against the Stormcast Eternals that reclaimed Caddow. [1c]
