Components of the Infinity Gears

The Infinity Gears are a collection of incredibly complex machinery and apparatus on the Flamescar Plateau in the Great Parch.[2]

History

Age of Myth

Pre-dating most civilizations in the Great Parch, the Infinity Gears were most famously used by the Arch-Domini of the Agloraxi Empire. The Infinity Gears impart the user with celestial truths and insights from another age, allowing them a glimpse at the unfathomable complex mechanism of reality.[1] The Agloraxi used this knowledge to predict the movements of the Eternia Realmway, allowing them to unleash the power of the Prismatikon against anyone who dare defy them.[1]

Age of Sigmar

During the Time of Tribulations, the Realm of Aqshy was hit by a curse. A Red Mist spread across the lands, inciting violence where ever it went. Soon enough, the bloodshed attracted the attention of Korghos Khul, and the Orb Infernia descended upon the Great Parch.[3] In a desperate attempt to defeat the forces of Khorne, a number of scholars, artisans and sorcerers gather at the Infinity Gears. With the power of the Infinity Gears, and the Red Mist as fuel, the wise men manage to re-activate an artifact from the Age of Myth, a Chronomatic Cannon. The cannon emitted a single, bright beam of temporal energy, hitting the Orb as it loomed over the Flamescar Plateau. The power of the Infinity Gears and the Cannon reverted the state of the Orb, back to how it was before Korghos Khul made it his stronghold.[3]
