Heart of Winter

The Heart of Winter, also known as the Ichonneath and the Tear of Season's End is magical artefact the produces an endless cold. Said to have dropped from the eye of the Everqueen, it gave rise to an endless cold that dominates the Druichan Forest, guarded by the bitter Aerchhoi clan of the Dreadwood Sylvaneth.[1a] The Heart of Winter was later lost when Fleetmaster Arika Zenthe stole the artefact and was later dropped into the belly of a ghorvorasc, which froze to death.[1b]
