Appearance
The being is believed to have horns with which it rended the Mortal Realms.[1b]
Worship
Those Gor-kin that hunt in the Prowling Valleys of Ghur erect imposing herdstones of living rock in honor of the Gorfather. Mutilated prey is offered to these herdstones which in turn produce new generations of Gor after they've gorged on said offerings.[1a]
The Allherd, also known as the Brood of the Gorfather, believe themselves to be descended from this mysterious deity. During the Greatfray's violent revelries Bray-Shamans recount myths surrounded the ancient being.[1b]
The First Sons of the Gorfather are powerful champions, especially of the Allherd.[1b]
Myths
Massive tusk-glyphs found in the Prowling Valleys of Ghur tell of a beast that came into existence at the exact moment when the first rivulet of Chaos taint entered the Realm of Ghur. The creators of these glyphs believed this beast to be the progenitor of the first Greatfray.[1a]
The fate, and identity, of this Gorfather remains largely unknown as vast sections of the tusk-glyphs were destroyed. Some denizens of Ghur believe the Gorfather was one of the Godbeasts, perhaps even Ravenak, that still roam their realm.[1a]
The Allherd believe their ancient progenitor created the oceans of Ghur by savagely hacking at the Realm, bile and gore from its wounds forming the oceans. Another myth claims he created the first Realmgates by tearing into the Mortal Realms with his horns.[1b]
