Gavriel Sureheart
Gavriel Sureheart is a Lord-Celestant of the Hammers of Sigmar Stormhost.[1a][1b]
History
Before Reforging
Gavriel was born as a slave named Grub in the Khornate citadel known as Ratspike. As a kid his job for the slavers was bringing buckets of blood from the arena to the walls of the citadel to poor them through the maws of the castle's gargoyles. When he was old enough he was chosen as fodder for the arena, not knowing that he had secretly trained in the midnight sessions during the last 10 years. He was the sensation of the arena filling the maws of the gargoyles with thick blood for weeks. After a month of slaughter he killed the king of the Ratspike by stabbing his spear through the kings throat, and tried to escape with other slaves in an armed revolt. Yet the escape fell in the same night. When his neck felt the bite of the axe, Sigmar took his soul to the Realm of Azyr to be reforged.[1a][1b]
Post-Reforging
After getting reforged as Gavriel he had proven as a exceptional fighter in the Gladitorium - most likely after he had trained his entire life. Instead of a Spear and Buckler he was wielding a sigmarite blade and a broad shield now and has proved a capable Lord-Celestant.[1a][1b]
