Gates Below

The Gates Below are a pair of realmgates located somewhere within the Adamantine Chain, the massive mountain range that dominates much of the coastal regions of Aridian and eastern Capilaria, that lead to the Realm of Shyish.[1a][2]
History
Age of Sigmar
In the Time of Tribulations the Cogfort known as the Light of Hope, a part of the Outer Web of Hammerhal Aqsha, was sent to secure the Gates Below and build permanent fortifications around it. This endeavor ended in disaster as the Necroquake was unleashed upon the Mortal Realms during this time, slaying all in the Cogfort. Though a lone messenger-hawk was sent out to warm Hammerhal and its Chamber Strategic.[2]
