Firespitters are cantankerous, reptilian creatures that live and thrive around the many lava flows and volcanic caverns that are found all across Aqshy's wilderness.[1a][1b]

Physiology
The scales of a Firespitter have unique properties grant them intense heat resistance and the ability to swim through lava as if it was water. They also have fiery maws and are capable of spewing streams of magma at those that threaten them.[1a]
Economy
Firespitter Herders drape themselves in outfits made of Firespitter scales, granting them immunity to the reptiles' belligerent and volatile outbursts during their more temperamental moods.[1a]
Uses
The Free City of Anvilgard keeps a number of these reptiles as beasts of burden, often used when expeditions into the Crucible of Life are underway.[1b]
