The Fire-Wyrms were known for their indomitable spirits and martial ability, tearing through the ranks of their foes with great destructive force. The Grimwrath Berserkers of the Fyreslayers are often favourably compared to the ancient wyrms.[2a][3a]

- Anhur, a Khornate warlord, slew a Fire-Wyrm and used its obsidian heart to create his warped axe.[1a]
- Seker Gravewalker, Lord-Relictor of the Beast-Bane Warrior-Chamber, has a fire-wyrm skull affixed to his Reliquary Standard.[4a]
