Efulgus

Lord Efulgus of Nurgle established the Rotten Hold in the Panmyrrian Jungles of [[[Realm of Ghyran|Ghyran]], corrupting and warping those once verdant jungles.^[1a]

History

Age of Chaos

Lord Efulgus and his Rotbringers erect the massive, putrid Rotten Hold in the Panmyrrian Jungles of [[[Realm of Ghyran|Ghyran]], corrupting the jungles all around it. But this incursion outrages sixteen Spiderfang Grots who are led by their shamans in laying siege to the fortress.^[1a]

Initially Efulgus found the attempts to destroy his fortress amusing, but the arrival of dozens of Skitterstrand Arachnaroks sway the siege in the Grots favor and they overrun the fortress, even at the cost of thousands of their lives they manage to overrun and slaughter the Rotbringers. The Grot shamans purify the fortress and jungles.^[1a] The ultimate fate of Efulgus remains unknown.^[1a]
