Durnhok

The Durnhok were one of many Fyreslayer lodges that suffered greatly as a result of the Necroquake.[1a]

As the Necroquake surged across the Mortal Realms the Fyreslayers of the Durnhok lodge were assaulted by processions of Nighthaunts. The lodge's entire royal family, except for a single Runeson, was wiped out. The Runeson, overcome with grief after the death of his father, took a Doomseeker oath. All other surviving members of the Durnhok, ever a loyal people, took similar oaths. Thus the entire lodge became grimnyn, fated to wander the Realms without hearth or home.[1a]
