Blunderbuss

Blunderbuss refers to a number of heavy, high-calibrated firearms popularly employed by the Free Peoples of Sigmar's Empire, particularly by members of the Freeguilds and Ironweld Arsenal.^[1a][2a][3a]

Overview

Traditionally, blunderbusses are heavy hand-held guns with high-calibre barrels that tend to have medium-range of fire.^[1a][2a][3a]

Ammunition

While many blunderbusses fire standard shot there are some that are designed to fire buckshot or even grenades.^[1a][4a] Some Cogsmiths of the Ironweld Arsenal have been known to carve magic runes into the ammunition of their blunderbusses.^[4a]
