Black Orruk

Black Orruks are a race of Greenskin, and Orruk variant, inhabiting the Mortal Realms.^[4]

Overview

Black Orruks are notable for their darker green skin tones, sober demeanours, and military discipline.^[2] Despite their size they are noted to be markedly smaller than their Gorruk cousins of the Ironjawz Warclans.^[1b]

History

Age of Sigmar

Mobs of Black Orruk were a frequent sight among the armies of Ironjawz Megabosses during the course of the Realmgate Wars.^{[1a][2][3][4]}

Military

The Black Orruks organize themselves into military units known as Mobs, which are more disciplined than the rowdy mobs of their Ironjaw cousins. For protection, they wear conventionally wrought heavy armour paired with full helms and shields.^[2]

They wield traditionally crafted weapons, though they envy the strength that allows the Ironjawz to simply beat new weapons into shape from metal pried off fallen foes.^[1b]
