Beastmark
From Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum
Beastmarks, pieces of armour moulded into the likeness of animals, are a military honour worn by Stormcast Eternals rather than traditional medals. These symbols are meant to reflect some aspect of the warrior that bears them, or on rare occasion commemorate beasts the bearer has personally slain.[1a][4a]
Known Beastmarks
- Cave Bear: Used to denote the bearer possesses strength and endurance.[1a][2a]
- Celestial Lion: Used to denote the great ferocity or courage of the bearer.[1a]
- Reptilian: Reptilian beastmarks often indicate the bearer has a connection to the Children of Dracothion.[2a]
- Star-eagle: Used to denote the swiftness of the bearer.[1a]
Recipients
Officers of the Stormhosts, from the Primes who command retinues to legendary Lord-Celestants like Gavriel Sureheart, proudly wear Beastmarks.[1a][3]
