The Ash War is the name given to the battle that broke out when Axranthos, the Sun Dragon imprisoned beneath the Dreadhold of the Iron Golems, broke free. Many warbands of the Iron Golems participated in the battle to recapture the dragon.[1a]
Results
Axranthos is recaptured and forced to continue to power the forge-complexes of the Iron Golems' kingdom. Those warbands that participated in the battle are known as Veterans of the Ash War.[1a]
