Ark of Sotek

Arks of Sotek are magical artefacts used by the Seraphon to unleash swarms of snakes on their foes.^[1a]

Function

Within the temples of the Seraphon there are deep pits, within which dwell vast swarms of venomous serpents. Each of these pits contain a portal, not unlike a Realmgate, that connect to an Ark of Sotek. The largest of these are placed upon the backs of mighty Bastiladons, though there are smaller ones that can be carried by a mortal. No matter the size of the Ark, the function is the same as they spew venomous serpents upon targets when activated.^[1a]

The wielder of the Ark of Sotek can exert rudimentary control over the serpants.^[1a]
