The Angujakkak or the Grey Kings are truly vast sea beasts that dwell in the Realm of Ghur and who were defenders of the city of Nemisuvik. [1]

Appearance

Hamilcar Bear-Eater described the one he saw as a nightmare crossbreeding between an ocean trench dwelling troggoth and a mega-squid, covered in thick armoured scales and heavy black eyes in a central body from which sprouted a mass of more than a hundred gigantic tentacles. It was at least partially transparent, it vast organs visably pulsing within its skin. He considered it nearly large enough to be considered a Godbeast. Its mouth split across half of the central body, with rows of huge teeth, even its buoyancy bladders were armoured in clear scales.[1]

History

In the Age of Chaos, a group of Humans was saved by a Angujakkak who pulled them to a calm area of the Stormwilds where they would build a city that survived the forces of Chaos and into the Age of Sigmar.[1]

For more than two thousand years they existed together, each successive Angujakkak would both draw in the surrounding sea life as a further defence against enemies but also project the inhabitants from them. When it grew large enough it would lay an egg and then break the nets that surrounded it to surge out into the ocean and feed its hunger. The egg would hatch into another great sea beast and the life cycle begin again. [1]

At the culmination of the Thousand Day Siege, at least one citzen sacrificed herself to the Grey King in a attempt to draw it out and attack the besieging fleet of the Champion of Khorne, Blackjaw. Although this failed, it would be later be enticed out by the blood in the water from fight for life by Hamilcar Bear-Eater when he was flung into the water by a artillery strike. The Grey King broke free and began to rampage through the huge sea life and then began destroying and devouring the entire choas fleet.[1]

As it had broke free before it had laid an egg, no more Angujakkak made their home within the city. [1]

Quotes

Trapped, surrounded by armed men and women. A wild beast would have run amok. Trust me, Nanook. I am a Astral Templar, and I know beasts. It should have been a slaughter. The monster has bonded to you somehow, to this city. I can smell it.

~Hamilcar Bear-Eater.[1]
