Allopex
Allopexes are vicious, legendary predators that ply the open oceans and seas of the Mortal Realms.[1a]
Biology
Allopexes are large, shark-like predators found in the oceans of the Mortal Realms with sleek and muscular bodies. They have rows upon rows of serrated triangular teeth, like razor-edged saws, and jaws strong enough to rip through tough hide and thick bone, and will eat anything they can fit in their maws. Their skin is as rough as sandpaper and have scythe-like fins and sickle-finned tails.[1a][2]
Ecology
Allopexes are pelagic, meaning they inhabit the upper layers of the ocean, predators that hunt by swimming below their prey and bursting upward to kill them with a singular bite. They can also follow prey by the scent of blood in the water, and within the Ethersea if they are captured by Idoneth and turned into Bond-Beasts.[1a]
