This Aelfish Lexicon contains a list of all the words and phrases of the Aelfish languages found in the many publications of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

Lexicon

The following is a Lexicon containing a list of words and phrases, and their meanings, of all the Duardin languages and dialects that are used by Aelfs. These words and phrases will be presented in alphabetical order.

Avarai A courtly dance performed by members of high society in many Idoneth Enclaves related to the Ionrach.[5e] Language of the Ionrach
Cythai Awakened [5b]
Dharthai Black Dragon. The name given to a titanic beast of the Deep Nothing [5d]
Eolas Means knowledge, teaching, and Teclis. It is also the name of an Idoneth philosophy also known as The Learning.[6a] Language of the Cythai
Hysha-Mhensa The union of the four principal elements of Hysh and the strength one can take from combining them all for the same cause. Since the Reinvention, the Hysha-Mhensa has become favoured above all.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Har Kuron City of Scales [1a] Khainite Tongue
Iltaer A courtly dance performed by members of high society in many Idoneth Enclaves related to the Ionrach.[5e] Language of the Ionrach
Kruip-Lash Barbed Whips [2b] Khainite Tongue
Minaith Signifies Skill at Arms, Spirituality and the Lost Way.[3c] Lumineth Tongue Ollirathai A martial art practiced by Vanari Bannerblades. Roughly translates to Shield of Swords in the Azyrite tongue.[7a] Lumineth Tongue
Oreali The rune of Wind, represents the ephemeral force that can strike with a hurricane’s anger.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Quul The rune of the Tree of Life, Regrowth, Decay and the Oak of Ages Past.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Sarail A courtly dance performed by members of high society in many Idoneth Enclaves related to the Ionrach.[5e] Language of the Ionrach
Scáthmre Mirror in the Center of the Bloodwrack Shrines. [2c] Khainite Tongue
Scianlar A variety of long daggers used by Blood Stalkers. [2d] Khainite Tongue
Sciansá A variety of daggers used by the Witch Aelves [2a] Khainite Tongue
Sendai Synonymous with Dedication, Sacrifice and Resentment.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Senlui The rune of Swiftness and Accuracy, is synonymous with the Vanari warhosts of Hysh.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Senthoi The rune of Unity and Loyalty, can also mean Broken Promise, depending on context.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Sethai The rune of Flight, Wind and a Cry in the far mountains.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Sevir The counterpart to Sethai. Agressive, Wind, Storm, and the Anger of the Realms.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Slith-onóir The rituals which are used to create Bloodwrack Medusae [2c] Khainite Tongue
Thanlui Signifies Injustice, Necessity, Unbalanced Scales, but also the Shyish Nadir.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Thalari The rune of Zenith, represents the world above the clouds where light rules alone.[3a] Lumineth Tongue

Ylvan The rune of Pride, Honour and Imperfection, represents the Age of Myth.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Ylvoir Synonymous with the Throne of Kings, Guardianship and Servitude.[3c] Lumineth Tongue
Yngra The rune of Rescue and Imprisonment, can often hint at Slaanesh’s fate in Uhl-Gysh.[3a] Lumineth Tongue
Yulrhair A courtly dance performed by members of high society in many Idoneth Enclaves related to the Ionrach.[5e] Language of the Ionrach
