Sometime after the first Cities of Sigmar were raised, the region known as the Brazen Plains is liberated by Sigmar's forces and new settlements arise, such as Sigenvale and Fort Dunhaven, the latter of which was built along the Wounded Road. The Wounded Road became a major trade route of the region during this time.[1a]
Wounded Road sees much devastation years later when a monstrous, castle-sized Khornate monster with a flesh-and-metallic body rampaged across it, destroying many trade caravans and settlements along the trade road and throughout the greater region. The monster is eventually slain by Hammers of Sigmar of the Shadowhammers chamber, Neave Blacktalon and Tarion Arlor.[1a]
