Warlock Engineer

Warlock Engineers are the powerful techno-sorcerers and siege-masters of the Clans Skryre.^[2b][3c]

Field of expertise

Those Skryre skaven that have a good grasp of a wide variety of disciplines become Warlock Engineers. They blend magic with technology in a myriad of inspired, dangerous and often unreliable ways to create ingenious kill-weapons and to achieve some horrifying results in conjuring of warp lightning. And of course they use every opportunity to test these war-tools on the battlefield.^[3c][4b]

Combat

Most Warlock Engineers prefer to fight enemies at a distance, casting warp lightning through various techno-arcane devices or even piloting their own creations, with the most common being Doomwheels.^[3c]

Magic

Warlock Engineers are Wizards and know the Arcane Bolt, Mystic Shield and Warp Lightning spells which they can boost (although it is risky) with Warp-power Accumulators, hanging on their backs.^[1a]

Equipment

On the battlefield Warlock Engineer tries to stand aback from the most severe fights. When cornered, however, he will fire his Warplock Pistol or draw a claw-blade known as Warp-energy Blade or Warlock-augmented Blade to slaughter even the toughest warriors. The Warp-energy Blade's generator can be overloaded, but sometimes it makes things worse for the Warlock himself.^{[1a][2b][3c][3d]}
