The dread Legion of Azgorh was once the terror of the Dark Lands of the world-that-was. Bitter and twisted, masters of murderous war engines and unyielding iron, their cruelty and avarice knew no bounds, and man or beast, goblin-kind or monster – all fell before their malign wrath or were enslaved to feed the sorcerous industries and sacrificial pyres of their smoke-blackened domains.
Notes
- The 2015 version of the Legion of Azgorh Compendium had 10 warscrolls.
- It released with the Sons of the Maggot Lord and The Leaping Pox Battalions.
- Despite being included in this Compendium, the Chaos War Mammoth, Sayl the Faithless and Nightmaw were not part of the Tamurkhan's Horde faction, instead being part of Slaves to Darkness.
- The 2018 version of the Legion of Azgorh Compendium has 6 warscrolls.
- It released with the Sons of the Maggot Lord and The Leaping Pox Battalions from the previous version.
- It lost the 3 Slaves to Darkness and the Gigantic Chaos Spawn warscrolls from the previous version, the last which was moved to the Monstrous Arcanum Compendium.
- It added Allegiance rules for playing a Tamurkhan's Horde army, by giving the faction an ability, command ability, command trait, artefact of power and Pitch Battle Profiles.
- The rules allowed Tamurkhan's Horde and Maggotkin of Nurgle armies to use any of the warscrolls from both factions.
- Version 27/08/2021 of the Legion of Azgorh Legends Compendium had 6 Warscrolls.
- It released with the Sons of the Maggot Lord and The Leaping Pox Battalions from the previous version.
- It changed the Allegiance rules for playing a Tamurkhan's Horde army, by removing the ability and command ability.
- Unlike the previous version, it limited the use of Tamurkhan's Horde units in a Maggotkin of Nurgle army, by forcefully turning it into a Tamurkhan's Horde faction if it has one.
