Vertigon

The Vertigon Court is a Flesh-Eater Court that inhabits the Vertiginous Peaks in the Ymetrican Geosegment of Hysh.^[1a]

Leadership

The ruler of Vertigon is the Abhorrant Archregent Gorstane Mortevell, known as the Bright Emperor. Under him is a feudal structure that is surprisingly complex, with various abhorrants ruling different peaks as fiefs.^[1a][2a]

Origins

The ghouls claim that the peaks were visited and blessed by Ushoran in the Age of Myth. Later, a band of survivors from the Knights of the Hollowmourne make their way to the region, though whether they became mordants under the influence of the mountains or they had already come under the curse before they arrived is unknown.^[1a]
