Welcome to Warhammer - Age of Sigmar - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the [Lexicanum:Help help pages]. Again, welcome and have fun! Ashendant (talk) 20:52, 28 October 2019 (MDT)

Hi, we organised a discord server to give editing advices and facilitate lore discussions. We would be glad to see you join this dedicated community in order to better organise our efforts, be it to ask help regarding a subject you are less knowledgeable about or to know what big projects are being worked on atm. Here is a link to the discord server we use for that effect: https://discord.gg/Ryg9eA If the link is too old when you read this, just comment on this very page and I’ll update it. You can also PM me on reddit (u/Duke_Eligos-_-). User:DukeEligos (talk) 19:12, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Forum

I've created a Forum so we all can have a more indepth, communal discussion on edits and updates to the Lexicanum, while at the same time making it far easier to follow. Check it on the Lexicanum:Forum article.--Ashendant (talk) 14:12, 16 November 2019 (MST)

Dynamic Lists

Hey, I've replaced your edits in the Waywatcher page with a Dynamic Lists, which can be seen here. This wiki feature automatically compiles a list using the category in question, which over a long time will guarantee that these lists are kept updated without making any edits. If you see any unit page that misses these and that units has characters in the lore, feel free to add them. Thanks!--Ashendant (talk) 12:39, 15 September 2020 (UTC)

It's okay. I only have seen that the characters where missing. I haven't used the dynamic lists yet only read about them once. I think I have read, that they can become quite slow when there are many entries and in case of the fandom wiki I'm coming from many characters are still placeholders (so if I wanted to use dynamic lists there I would need many Stub Articles). EMMachine (talk) 13:06, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
For now I don't think you have to worry about that. We only use Dynamic Lists for unit pages(we have other lists for other stuff) so they are unlikely to be too big, through if that becomes a problem we can fix it later.
I don't mind if you create a lot of stub articles. If you feel the need to create a lot of these to make dynamic lists complete feel free to do so, as long as they are properly sourced(with page number or chapter of the book) they can be easily filled out later by anybody that wants~to do it. Plus as long as it is a character it has the right to have their own article, no matter how minuscule the info on that character it is.--Ashendant (talk) 13:35, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
With my last comment about the stubs, I actually meant my german Fandom wiki. But no wonder I haven't used it yet. In that fandom wiki Dynamic Page Lists isn't initialized, so when I tested it there yesterday, it didn't work. But it is actually good to know how the standpoint about stub Articles in such a case is here. Does the "it has the right to have their own article" also a planning for those subgroup threads were the units inside the subgroups are descriped in the same article. Like the Redeemer Conclave, or only characters? EMMachine (talk) 07:47, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
Only characters.
The issue with units articles is that they often end up as being very small, so when GW specifically states they are part of a unit group we create articles for group to have more complete articles. I also have to add that what constitutes a different unit is often slight variations, for example the Herald of Nurgle article which has three types of Heralds of Nurgle.--Ashendant (talk) 15:15, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

AoS Lexicanum Discord

We made a Discord server for the Lexicanun so every editor has an easier time communicating with one another. Would you like to be added to it?--Sageking14 (talk) 02:39, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
