The Growling Gates

The Growling Gates are a network of six interconnected Realmgates scattered across the Beastfens that are linked to the Gorelight Gatefort, a former Chaos Dreadhold, via a seventh Realmgate sitting atop the fortress's highest spire.^[1a][2a]

History

Age of Sigmar

During the Realmgate Wars the Hammers of Sigmar and Ironjawz Orruks following Gordrakk warred for control over the Growling Gates, for Gordrakk sought to reach the realmgate to Hysh, and the bastion of Order known as Celestrium on the other side. Ultimately, Gordrakk's forces were beaten back but an entire Warrior Chamber was sent back to Azyr in the conflict.^[1a][2a]

• Clawstone Deepway: Mountainous realmgate directly connected to Hornwillow Arch.^[2a]
• Desolation's Door: A realmgate laying in the Desert of the Lost.^[2a]
• Eyrie of Echoes: Realmgate perched on top of a mountain.^[2a]
• Gleamgloom Passage: Found in the Bloodhaunt Woods.^[2a]
• Hornwillow Arch: A realmgate found on an island in the Wyrdwild River.^[2a]
• Gate to Celestrium: A realmgate sitting upon the highest spire if the Gorelight Gatefort, leading to Celestrium.^[2a]
• Mirrored Path: Realmgate found near cliffs overlooking the sea bordering the Beastfens.^[2a]
