Stormstrike Chariot

Stormstrike Chariot are war-carriages of Angelos Conclaves of the Stormcast Eternals which are used as linebreakers.[1]

Origin

They are based chariots that were originally used in the Gladitorium as enemies to train Stormcast Eternals against linebreakers. When Grungni returned his knowledge of mystical conduction helped in the creation of Stormstrike Chariots that could be deployed in the battlefield.[2]

Armaments and Crew

The chariot is crewed by two Stormcasts one armed with a Stormstrike Axe while the other is armed with either a Great Stormbow or Tempestous Spear. The Gryph-chargers that drag the chariots are a breed that was originally native to the mountains of Azyr but are currently being bred across the realms and have no fear against charging towards lines of steel as their talons and beaks are often enough to destroy them on their own. As the Stormstrike Chariot accelerates it is surrounded crackling storm energies that grow stronger the faster it travels. This vortex deflects enemy arrows and cannonballs until it is released either by arrows and javelins or by crashing into the enemy.[1][2]
