Plains of Flesh and Blood
The Plains of Flesh and Blood are a region of the underworld of Hallost in the Realm of Shyish to the north of the valley of the Nordyrie.[1a]
Terrain
In the Age of Myth, the region boasted some of the most fertile farmland in Hallost, but ever since the rampages of the Bloodthirster Khazakhan and his legion during the Age of Chaos, the land has been corrupted in a warped wasteland of blood geysers and brass-fanged ravines.[1a]
History
After the Battle of Dirge Peak, Khazakhan retreated to the region. Stories say that he still wanders the plains and that you can summon him to fight for you with an appropriately violent sacrifice.[1a]
During the reconquest of the continent by the Ossiarch Empire after Orpheon Katakros' return, the Chaos warlord Hagran Four-Eye, who had crossed from Praetoris in an attempt to negotiate an alliance against the Bonereapers with the Khornate tribes of Hallost, was killed in battle on the Plains by Mortis Praetorians.[2a]
