Old Firesnout

Old Firesnout, cogfort of Anvilgard.

Old Firesnouts is a particularly old Cogfort built by the Ironweld Arsenal to protect Anvilgard. ^{[1] [2]}

Description

Boasting large piston powered engines and a large flaming muzzle Old Firesnout dominates the landscape ^{[1][2ba][2b][2c]}. It's age, and it's menacing exterior has led it's workers to believe it is alive and imbues their nightmares with a desire for battle. ^[1a]

History

Age of Sigmar

Old Firesnout is exceptionally old, even by the standard of Cogforts, having withstood many battles. It played a keypart in the battle for Anvilgard ^{[2ba] [2b] [2c]}; whilst it fell to Morathi's forces initially a plan organised by Cogsmith Flamebeard and Warden King Matlo Loriksson saw the dispossed recapture it on behalf of Lord-Veritant Keiser ven Brecht. ^[2b] However, the cogfort and it's crew were later destroyed by Morathi-Khaine. ^[2c]

Armaments

In addition to it's sheer bulk the cogfort is armed with building sized canons ^[1] and turrets capable of firing flame ^{[1] [2b]}
