Maithnar Sea
The Maithnar Sea is an ocean found in the Realm of Ghyran, renowned for its clear and brilliant waters.[1a][1b]
History
Age of Myth
After escaping their creator god, Teclis, the Cythai gathered for a time in the Gealus Ocean of the Realm of Hysh. Eventually, they divided themselves and the ones who would become known as Ionrach moved to the Maithnar Sea of the Realm of Ghyran.[1a]
Here the Ionrach built their capital, the city of Príom.
Age of Chaos
After the Nautilar separated from the Ionrach and migrated to a region of the Maithnar Sea that was carpeted in broken shell, they planned to use this nearly endless material to make their city, Galanaur, grander than any other city. To the surprise of the Aelves their new city was not built upon the seabed, but the back of a Great Scaphodon that carried the city and aelves off to the warmer waters of the Atleus Ocean in the Realm of Ghur.[1a][1c]

- The Glasway: The largest whirlway in Ghyran.[1b]
Inhabitants
The Aelves of the Ionrach enclave live upon the seabed of the Maithnar Sea, their civilization centered on their glittering capital of Príom.[1a]
