The Leech's Lair is a city in the Realm of Ghur formerly known as Templarum that was invaded by Filthbringers under Festus the Leechlord who gave the city its new name. Since then the city acts as a base for the Filthbringers and a twisted laboratory for the Leechlord.[1a][1b]

History

When the Leechlord and the Filthbringers invaded the city it was already wrecked by plagues. At the orders of Festus the sorcerers of the contagium hunt the fauna of Ghur in particular the Mega-Gargants of Sons of Behemat who are attacked with withering magic before being dragged back to the city using giant chains. While the exact details of the experiments being conducted are a mystery the howls echo from the sewers give a glimpse into the horrors happening.[1a]
